Had a look in my new cook book, and there are plenty of recipes I would like to try and not needing many ingredients which is good especially now and most of them are store cupboards stuff which hopefully are easy to get. Won’t be going shopping till tomorrow.
No book shops opened now . I know you can buy online but fortunately enough I have got plenty to be going on with. So hopefully this virus will be gone soon .

Book For Mothers Day
I was given a new cookery book for Mother’s Day. It’s all about stew s and casseroles. Many I should be able to adapt for my slow cooker. Love my slow cooker. Must find the book which came with my original slow cooker , which I still have. Very happy memories with the slow cooker and book.
Books do give you many happy memories at times. Even my craft books I made so many items from them and so many recipes which are traditions in my family now.

Got Over
As the saying goes you can’t have to many books, rings true now with this isolation business my hoard of books will come in handy, many to read. Cookery books shall be used craft books will also be used fiction and non fiction as well . Glad I got my own library.
Still reading about Richard 111 very interesting really enjoying it I think I have got over my reading block.

Bookmarks
I have got so many books, but still buy them and I don’t feel guilty, well try not too.
I went into a book shop today , didn’t buy a book but bought a bookmark. Love buying them to , must stock up with more bookmarks. One for each book and I have got plenty of books

I Joined
I have finally joined the library, it didn’t take 5 minutes.
So I walked round and had a good look around. Ample computers which was nice to see. Plenty of seats which look very comfortable and plenty of desks/tables to use.
I think I am going enjoy my local library.
Took 2 books out 1 craft and one history. I will write about them a bit more in my next post.

Reading Block
I had a very serious reading block, apart form reading magazines I really didn’t read any complete books.
I went into a book shop and brought a book and mentioned my problem to a very lovely assistant and fellow reader, and she explained that she had a very bad reading block. So what she done, was to read up to 100 pages and up to 100 pages then she said if the story grabbed her she would continue if not try an other boo, but it work for her the first time for her. Then she said that she always carries a book with her so if she had a spare time out comes the book and if she only read one page she read something.
So I am now trying those 2 suggestions.
Plus also I am going to join my library as I really got into Richard 111 , so I thought that the library would be the best place to start.
I got interested in Richard 111 when I was on jury service about 6 years ago and when you have to sit about for a long time as we did you have to do something, they had a well stocked bookcase and found the book called Daughter in Time by Joséphine Tey so I thought it looked interesting and read it in between cases. I have to re-read it so I can write about it properly have to get myself a copy or get one from the library!
So my appetite was wetted. Then we had a while back about Richard 111 body was found in a car park that got me interested. So that’s my project now to read about Richard 111 join the library. And hopefully I will overcome my reading block
